Since June 9, 2009, we have been collecting entries to our Awkward Ringtone Moment Video Contest. We received an overwhelming number of fabulous submissions which ultimately caused us to expand the number of finalists from 3 to 5! After we took the top 5 videos, based on view and comment number, we took the videos to a panel of SendMe Mobile judges who voted on their favorite video. After the tally, the results were nearly unanimous. We are very excited to announce our winners; we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out! Congratulations to YouTube user TrumpetDStudios! His video, “Send Me Mobile Commercial,” was chosen as the grand prize winner of our contest!! Our judges here at SendMe Mobile were unanimous in choosing TrumpetDStudios’s video as our favorite video. It is creative, well-shot, and an overall fan-favorite. Thanks for doing such a great job!

UPDATE: Hello Mobilers! Just wanted to let everyone know some good news! With your help, we have chosen the top finalists for the Awkward Ringtone Moment Video Contest.  Since there were so many amazing video submissions, we’ve decided to expand the pool of finalists to the top five videos with the most views + the most comments. Since all the submissions were so great we thought, what they heck, let’s put the top five videos in the running for the Grand Prize.  To spice things up a bit, we are alo going to expand the number of final prizes as well! In addition to rewarding the Grand Prize, 1st Runner Up, and 2nd Runner Up winners, we are going to be adding 3rd Runner Up and Honorable Mention prizes. But it gets even better because all of the finalists are still guaranteed to win at least $75 Cash and have their video featured right here on the SMM blog. That’s right, every finalist wins! Stay tuned as we will be announcing the final prize winners on Monday July 27th.

Hey Mobilers,

Since June 9, we have been collecting submissions from people all over the country who put their creative minds to work in order to come up with the most awkward ringtone situations possible. Who wants to be in the middle of a sexual harassment seminar only to have their “Smack That” ringtone go off? Well lucky for us, there have been a lot of hilarious videos to enjoy over the last few weeks.

The contest came to a close today at 6:00PM PST, so now it is time for us at SendMe Mobile to go through each of the entries carefully and thoughtfully so that we can pick the finalists. There are so many awesome entries that it is going to be a really tough decision over here! We will announce our findings next Monday, July 27, so keep your eyes open!

An Awkward Interview

Hey Mobilers,

There were a few new Awkward Ringtone Moment Video Contest submissions this week! Overall the entries we have received have brought us a lot of entertainment.  The competition is really getting hot! So far we have videos in all genres, from funny to sad, and quirky to scary. All of the punchlines are knee-slap-worthy comedy!
