Oscar Fashion? Red Hot!
Last night millions of viewers tuned in to watch the 81st Academy Awards. While the Oscar winners seemed a bit predictable, Oscar fashion was red hot! This was a year of a little more tres chic and a little less faux pas.

The 2009 Oscars – It’s A Family Affair!
It’s that time of the year when we honor the best and brightest that Hollywood has to offer! The 2009 list of Oscar nominees is impressive, but there is something special about this year’s award celebration. Holywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both been nominated for the Best Actor/Actress in a Leading Role award this year; Brad for his role in “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button” and Angelina for her role in “Changeling”. Our hats off to Brangelina!!! We are hoping that they will make history at this year’s Oscars!

Dresses and Diamonds & Heels, Oh My!
Smack dab in the middle of awards season, it’s hard to run through your grocery store check-out stand without noticing the latest dress worn by Angelina Jolie on the cover of <insert your favorite tabloid here>. True, it looked more like a drawstring Hefty bag, but it is “fashion” nonetheless that is on the cover versus the dramatic, ground-breaking performance that was undoubtedly given by today’s in-demand indie actor.

Today, thousands have descended upon Washington D.C. to witness Barack Obama sworn into the Oval Office as President of the United States of America. This marks a truly historic day for our country with the innaguration of the nation’s 44th president and a monumental civil rights achievement by the American people - The election of our nation’s first ever African American president!!!
