Cee-Lo and Gwyneth at the Grammys

I don’t know about you…but I’m not sure why Gwyneth Paltrow is getting so much glory for her rendition of Cee-Lo Green’s hit song “F* You.” Yes, she performed it (as “Forget You“) on Glee, but does that warrant her getting to perform so many duets with Cee-Lo as if she brought something new to the song? She didn’t. Someone else wrote an arrangement for her, and she sang it.

First she performed with him on SNL. That was cute. But…the Grammys? Seriously? Didn’t Cee-Lo write this song himself? I guess I’m just confused because it didn’t seem to make the song more popular after Gwyneth sang it. It was already an internet phenomenon much before she performed it on Glee. Actually, I think she got to perform it because it was such a big hit already.

Anyway, regardless of how I feel about it, Ms. Paltrow will be performing the song with Cee-Lo Green on the Grammy stage. Will you be watching? Are you excited?

P.S. The above video is the censored version of the song. For the original, click here.
