Conan O’Brien and Jack Black Battle
What started as a seemingly normal interview on Conan quickly turned into what can only be called a showdown. Jack Black (of Tenacious D) started by saying he “rocks harder” than Conan O’Brien does, because he is passionate about music and being in a band, whereas, he said, O’Brien does it more of as a hobby.
So, the two comedians brought out their guitars, Conan having an electric guitar, Black staying on acoustic, and began to “battle.” They were both doing just fine until Conan seemed to step up his game exponentially and inexplicably. At that point, Black feigns being confused and rips away the curtain, revealing Slash (of Guns N’ Roses) plugged in and amped for Conan.
Oops! Conan was caught red-handed! Of course, it was all planned, but it was LOLtastic. Check out the clip!
