Gaga Confronts a Protestor
Lady Gaga has been for a long time a contracted lead of creative position with Polaroid. She uses her sunglasses as a video camera, and she also carries little portable cameras around with her and creates what she calls “Gagavision.” The videos are edited in a video-weblog fashion, and she posts them for her followers.
In the latest video, Gaga shows herself riding in a car on her way to a concert where she sees a protester standing outside. She confronts the man by pulling over, introducing herself, and telling him: “We really believe in God at my show.” He responds with hateful words, but she handles herself well. Skip to about the 2:15 mark.
The confrontation continues for a little while until she needs to leave to get ready for her show. In the dressing room, she continues to address the man just by videotaping herself and discrediting his words. I like this video, but I also wish she had had the time to actually say these words directly to the guy. Especially the line (and I’m paraphrasing) about how there are 3,000 fans waiting in line for her, and no one waiting for, or listening to, him.
Check out the video!
P.S. Though I enjoyed the video, please be aware: “THAN” does not equal “THEN.” Thanks.
