Ice Cube and Dr. Dre to Team Up Again?
Wait…Ice Cube is still making albums? I thought he was focusing on his booming movie career (Are We There Yet?, Are We Done Yet?, The Janky Promoters)!
Anyway, rumor has it that Ice Cube and Dr. Dre might team up again on Ice Cube’s upcoming album, I Am the West. The two teamed up in 1995 (after NWA had already parted ways) for “Natural Born Killaz” and then again in 2000 during tours. Since then, though, they haven’t reunited.
Ice Cube took to his blog the other day and wrote:“I wanna answer a few questions you have for ya’ boy – Beats by Dre? Not yet. Haven’t asked him, but I will. Any collabos? Not yet (sic).” Even though that doesn’t seem as if it would spark rumors of “collabos,” it seems that he definitely plans on getting a song (or two?) together with Dr. Dre.
The album, I Am the West is due this summer!
