Jared Leto Channels Kurt Cobain

On the 17th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death, Jared Leto (of 30 Seconds to Mars) posted a video he had created a few years ago, in which he imitated Cobain, his mannerisms, and his performances in a video tribute.

Leto kept the video private for a long time, thinking it would have been used for a documentary about Cobain’s life and death. But, since a lot of people were discussing Cobain and his legacy yesterday, Leto decided instead to bring the video out of storage and show it to the world.

He went all-out in this video. He looks so much like the Nirvana front man that it’s a little uncanny. The hair, the facial hair, the clothes, the walk. Everything fits.

Do you think this was a nice tribute?
