Live at the AMAs: Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Ke$ha
At the 38th annual American Music Awards, which will be held on November 21st at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles (and broadcast on ABC), pop superstars Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Ke$ha are all set to perform.
None of these three pop-culture sensations have performed on the AMA stage before, so making their debut is exciting for all three performers. Says Bieber, he is “extremely humbled and honored” to be included and asked to perform. He’s also nominated for four awards himself. He didn’t however, give any indication of what song(s) he’ll be performing.
Ke$ha, too, said she’s excited to make her “big American awards-show” debut on-stage. Ke$ha is nominated for three AMAs, including Artist of the Year. (…Her?)
Katy Perry is an awards-show veteran, though, so she’ll most likely be performing one or two of her most recent Billboard-chart-topping songs (”California Gurls,” maybe, but my money’s on “Teenage Dream” or “Firework“). This will, however, be the first awards show at which she’s performing as a newlywed!
