Musicians Who Tweet
Some of your favorite artists are on Twitter! Some you may know about (coughJohnMayercough) but others you may not! It’s fun when their updates are light and funny. It gets a little depressing when some of them try to promote their issues through Twitter, but it’s cool that they’re even involved, so I don’t mind that much.
Twitter is a good way for fans to get to know their favorite artists, and how they are in real life instead of on stage or on the screen. It’s exciting to see when they take ratty pictures with their phones to post to twitter, instead of seeing them dolled up for a magazine, like we normally see them. We get to see their personality. They must find it refreshing, too, to be able to express themselves freely (though limited to 140 characters) and more casually.

Eminem (really?)
