New Albums: Diddy – Dirty Money and Ciara
Diddy – Dirty Money - Last Train to Paris
It’s been about four years since Diddy released his last album, Press Play, in 2006. Now he’s back as Diddy-Dirty Money (a group) with Last Train to Paris and sixteen new tracks. It also seems as if he collaborated with a lot of today’s hottest artists, like Usher (on “Your Love“), Chris Brown (”Yesterday“), Justin Timberlake (”Shades“), and a lot of others.
Diddy has been extremely successful both as a solo artist as well as a producer. As a solo artist, he has sold over 12 million albums. As a producer, the numbers grow even higher. Check out Last Train to Paris!
Ciara – Basic Instinct
Ciara burst onto the music scene in 2004 with the release of her chart-topping album, Goodies, which went on to sell over 3.5 million copies. Since then, she’s been consistently successful with her albums and her singles. In 2009, she produced another top-10 hit with Justin Timberlake, “Love Sex Magic.” Now she’s back with a new album, Basic Instinct.
The album contains 11 new tracks and a few key collaborations, including a song with Ludacris and one with Usher. In all of the tracks, she shows that she can be really versatile with her voice, having a talent for both rap and melody. You can clearly see that in the song with Usher, “Turn It Up” (which happens to be my favorite record on the album).
Check out Basic Instinct (the album, not the movie)!
