Pink Covers Adam Lambert

Actually, technically, it’s not a cover if she wrote the song!

Pink kicked off her summer tour, called “Funhouse Summer Carnival,” and boy, is she going to put on some crazy shows!  She’s got props and acrobatic moves (some of which she performs herself), and a whole lot of style.

Check out the video of her performing “Whataya Want From Me,” a song she wrote for Adam Lambert’s debut album, For Your Entertainment.  A bit of a warning: she does swear in the first few seconds of the video.  Oh, and also, it’s not the best quality of video.  However, it is still fun and you can still hear her sing it.  You can just imagine her going through this in her head, sitting in her house or in a studio or wherever she likes to write music.

She chose to write this song and give it to Lambert, for who knows what reason?  My guess is that his range is a lot different from hers.  You can definitely tell it’s one of her songs, though, can’t you??  But even she states (in this video, actually) that he sings it better than she does.  What do you think?  I think it could have worked for her, too, but maybe not as a single.  I think it was a good choice for Lambert’s second single…what was up with the music video, though?  But that’s neither here nor there.

So I wonder if she decided to sing “Whataya Want From Me” throughout her entire summer series, or if it was just a special little treat for her audience the other day?  I think it should be a regular feature in her concert!  She sounds good on it.  No crazy gimmicks; just her words and her voice.
