SNL Meets Michael Bolton
Comedy trio The Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Akiva Shaffer) is most famous for its digital short music videos on SNL (”D* in a Box” with Justin Timberlake, “I’m On A Boat” with T-Pain, etc.), and they’re back with a new album this month. (”We’re Back!“)
For their first video off the album, they bring us Michael Bolton in “Jack Sparrow.” Wow, they sure don’t disappoint, do they? Watch the clip above for all the funny.
I think we can expect more great things from The Lonely Island in the next few months. It’s just too bad that the SNL season finale is so soon! We won’t be blessed with more digital shorts until September, probably. *sigh* I guess Michael Bolton will just have to tide us over.
