Thanksgiving Day Football: Dallas vs. Oakland
Well the Cowboys couldn’t have picked a better opponent for their game on Thanksgiving this year: the Oakland Raiders. Well, okay, technically, they could have picked a better team to play in terms of increasing their chances of winning (coughDetroitcough…sorry, Lions). Anyway, Oakland is fine, too.

Not only will the 7-3 Cowboys be playing the 3-7 Raiders, but they are playing in their very own, brand-new, billion-dollar Dallas Stadium. (Oh, Jerry Jones…) If everyone on either team is performing at his very best, however, we could have a close game.
The Cowboys have a good record right now, but in a lot of their games (as of late) they’ve been lucky to win, let alone score at all. In the last game, for example, they went the entire game scoreless until the last two minutes when they scored a touchdown to beat the Redskins 7-6.
The Raiders, on the other hand, have a losing record right now, but in terms of facing the Cowboys they are on a 3-win streak, and for their Thanksgiving Day games they have a record of 6-3. Like I said, if everyone plays up to par (mixing sports, I know), it could turn out to be a competitive game. For a better run-down, check out the Silver and Black report!
Will you be watching?? Game’s on at 10:15am ET! Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving!!
