Happy New Year from SendMe!
I was going to write my usual Friday post with new albums and whatnot, but instead I’ve decided to wish you all a happy new year instead!
2010 was a difficult and strenuous year for a lot of people, so here’s to 2011 looking up. Let’s cross our fingers and hope for no more giant natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, volcano eruptions…I’m talking to you, Eyjafjallajökull!) or unnatural disasters, either (economic and financial crashes/crises, Sarah and Bristol Palin). It may be asking a little too much of the world, but I think that can happen, right? Or, technically, not happen.
But with all of the bad that happened in 2010, there’s always a hidden gem or two to find in the mix. Though the majority of events for the population, in general, were probably unfavorable, perhaps the lives of the individual were improved upon, at least a little bit. Of course, that could be the optimist in me trying to break through, but what’s good without a little hope?
2011 will be better. Let’s start it with a clean slate! Happy new year; have a safe and festive holiday!
