Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone from SendMe!
Get extremely hopped up on sugar and dizzy from the overwhelming scent of flowers. Have a cozy night in or a fun night out with someone you love or a big group of friends.
What’s nice about Valentine’s Day this year is that it’s on a Monday! So, what would have been just another, boring old Monday full of your grumpiness of having to drag yourself out of bed to go to work super early in the morning is now all dolled up and dressed with something to look forward to in the evening!
A lot of people chalk Valentine’s Day up to be a pretty made up holiday created by corporations to make more and more money off of consumers every year. While that may be true, Valentine’s Day goes back as far as year 500CE with Pope Gelasius I. Saint Valentine is the name of several different Roman martyrs, so February 14th has always marked a day of feast to celebrate all of them, and has evolved ever since.
