Fandango Releases iPad App
Fandango is most-known for buying movie tickets in advance (midnight shows, opening day, running late), but now they’re trying to heighten the interest with more media and better picture quality with an iPad app.
Apparently, users are not only able to buy their tickets in advance, but they can stream trailers, movie clips, and other movie information by using their iPads. Fandango already had an iPhone app, but now with the iPad app, the dimensions will be better suited for the larger screen, so that trailers and clips, as well as photos, can be seen in a higher definition picture.
Sounds like a good idea. Question is: how long do these trailers and clips take to load in HD? With 3G, I wonder if it takes too long to be worth it. Oh well!
