AT&T to Sell Half-Price BlackBerry Phones
In an effort to compete with other carriers, AT&T will be offering half-priced BlackBerry devices (after a mail-in rebate). The popularity of the iPhone has done wonders for AT&T, but RIM BlackBerry phones are still the leader in sales and reliability, especially for businesses.

They are also looking to boost sales of other smartphones as well, and are therefore practically giving away the Samsung Solstice device away—if you sign a two-year contract with AT&T, you can get your Solstice for free after the mail-in rebate.
Even though AT&T is the largest carrier and provider of BlackBerry phones, the company started this promotion in an attempt to keep their consumers happy. BlackBerry has made an incredible amount of updates just in the last few years, with software and entire device additions and upgrades. So to give their users a chance to update their devices and service, they decided to sell the phones for half price.
AT&T offers the largest variety of BlackBerry devices. The ones that are eligible for the half-off promotion are:
- BlackBerry® Bold(TM) 9700
- BlackBerry® Bold(TM) 9000
- BlackBerry® Curve(TM) 8900
- BlackBerry® Curve(TM) 8520
- BlackBerry® Curve(TM) 8320
- BlackBerry® Curve(TM) 8310
Just in time for the holidays!
