Mozilla Creates New Browser for Android
“Fennec Alpha” is just another name for Mozilla’s Firefox mobile browser. I know, I was surprised, too. But the minds over at Mozilla have created a version of Firefox that is customized for the Android operating system (Google).
According to FierceMobileContent and Mozilla: “Fennec Alpha is the first mobile browser to offer add-ons, running the same technology that powers Firefox on the desktop–built-in Firefox Sync promises seamless access to Awesome Bar browsing history, bookmarks, passwords, form-fill data and open tabs.” This is huge for a mobile browser!
Though Apple updated Mozilla’s Firefox on their operating system as well, allowing users to browse their history and create bookmarks, the convenience of tabs, passwords, form-fill, and other little details have still been unreliable and inconvenient. Mozilla’s starting to step up its game with the addition of this alpha version of Firefox mobile browser, don’t you think?
