Palm Pre (Plus) Makes its Way to Verizon
Palm, Inc. and Verizon Wireless announced, on January 7, that the Palm Pre Plus will be available for consumers to purchase on January 25!
The Palm Pre is a great phone. You can multitask much easier than you can on a lot of other smartphones. You can run several applications at once without putting forth too much effort, or experiencing too much hassle. It’s a well balanced device that is both fun and practical.
According to MobileTechNews, the “Palm Pre Plus has a large, vivid touch screen; high-performance processor; and slide-out keyboard. The Pre Plus keyboard makes for quick and easy typing, while the unique gesture area provides a sleek look and intuitive navigation. Pre Plus also comes with the Palm Touchstone™ Back Cover, making the phone compatible with the revolutionary inductive Touchstone Charging Dock (sold separately). Verizon Wireless Pre Plus customers will also get 16 GB of storage (approximately 15 GB user available) for applications and media.”
The phone also comes with Wi-Fi capability, making connections and internet access much easier for Verizon customers. Though the Verizon Wireless 3G network is good, nothing can really beat Wi-Fi, you know?
Verizon seems to be branching out, and I like it!
