VERIZON IPHONE SELLS OUT
No, I’m not talking about the figurative meaning of being a “sell-out.” Turns out, Verizon Wireless iPhone demands were even bigger than either Verizon or Apple thought…
After having a “pre-order” supply of the Verizon iPhone that was supposed to last from February 3rd to February 10th, when the iPhone would be officially available, both Verizon and Apple had to shut down pre-order sales in just 17 hours. That’s right, all of the undisclosed supply of iPhones were sold between the hours of 3:00AM and 8:10PM EST.
According to Verizon Wireless CEO Dan Mead, “In just our first two hours, we had already sold more phones than any first day launch in our history. And, when you consider these initial orders were placed between the hours of 3 a.m. and 5 a.m., it is an incredible success story.” It sure is! Accordingto some reports, the Verizon iPhone will be available again for pre-order starting on Wednesday, February 9th at 3:01AM.
For those of you who can’t, or don’t want to, pre-order the phone, it’ll be in stores starting on Thursday, February 10th at 7AM!
