Maroon 5 Releases a New Single
About time that Maroon 5 releases a new single! It’s been a little over three years since the release of It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, the band’s second studio album. Combined with their first studio album, Songs About Jane, Maroon 5 has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
Well, the wait is *almost* over! Their third album, Hands All Over, is due out on September 21. Woohoo! It will contain fifteen new tracks from the band. The first single, “Misery” hasn’t technically been released for sale, but has been circulating around the internet over the last 24 hours. It sounds a lot like their other music from their previous two albums…but hey, there’s nothing wrong with that!
The band is going to promote the album by touring for a month (July 30 to August 29), but I’m pretty sure they won’t be performing all of the songs off Hands All Over. It will mostly consist of older tracks with little sneak-peeks of their new stuff.
So what do you think of “Misery”? I think the band is good for another album or two, and then maybe they’ll all go on to do other stuff. I think I heard Adam Levine, the band’s lead singer, say that at some point, too.
