Need Help?

New Internet Star!

Overnight, this kid has become an internet sensation, and for good reason!  When I first saw this video yesterday morning, it had been viewed about 50,000 times.  Not bad, but not a phenomenon.  I checked back at 9:00pm, and the number had exploded to 270,000.  Again, there’s good reason.

Greyson–a middle-schooler–took Lady Gaga’s hit “Paparazzi” and turned it into something even more special.  He made it his own, and I have to agree with popeater.com: he is a piano genius who looks like Justin Bieber and sounds like Lady Gaga.  The kid has such a great voice and is adorable!  And I really wish I had half as much talent as he has in playing that piano.

When you watch this video, you will instantly feel good about just everything.  I was reading a bunch of comments on his YouTube page, too, and there are all of these people giving their support, hoping he gets a record deal.  Need I remind you that this is exactly how Justin Bieber got his start?  Greyson has got quite a shot!  I mean, he is a few years younger than Biebs, but by the looks and sound of him, he could have a long career ahead of him in this industry.

I’m just waiting for when Lady Gaga sees it!  I’ve seen Hayley Williams (of Paramore) even tweet directly to Gaga that she should watch it.  And, trust me, she will watch it.  When she does, I’m guessing she’ll start crying or something.  She’s so oddly connected to her fans; don’t get me wrong, though, I love it!  I hope this kid posts a lot more, too!  Check it out for your feel-good Wednesday video!
