Super Bowl XLIV
I thought I’d take a break from the usual Friday album reviews (especially since the biggest record this week is from a JoBro…nooothankyou) and talk about the Super Bowl! Who will win!? Who do you WANT to win?
Usually, I’m pretty opinionated. I hate the Steelers, so naturally, last year, I was automatically rooting for the Cardinals. In years past I’ve been a Patriots fan (how can anyone resist Tom Brady?!) or an anti-Giants fan, etc. This year, though, I’m kind of torn!
I mean, I really like Peyton Manning, and the Colts have had a solid season. They have the #1 defense in the league, and Manning always follows through. He’s been a Super Bowl MVP and a four-time NFL MVP award winner. He’s back, and he wants another trophy.
But man, I think I’m rooting for the Saints. What a great run they’ve had! They got a little too comfortable toward the end of the regular season, but still, only having three losses is a great accomplishment. It’s the first trip to the Super Bowl EVER for the New Orleans Saints. With such a strong season it’s hard to call them the underdogs, but let’s face it, there’s a lot of pressure on Drew Brees for this win. There’s a lot of pressure on the entire team!
I hope they come out with the win, but it’s going to be an incredibly tough road for them. Either way, though, this should be a great match up! Tune in at 6:25PM EST on Sunday!!!
