What MJ Means to Me

Hey Mobilers,

As you already know, last week was a devastating week for music lovers around the globe as the legendary Pop icon, Michael Jackson suddenly and tragically passed away. Now that we’ve all had a few days to reflect on MJ, I wanted to take this moment to showcase what Michael Jackson means to some of the team members here at SendMe Mobile. Here is what they had to say:

“Asking me what my favorite Michael Jackson song is like asking me which parent I love more. It’s impossible to pick, and I couldn’t fathom even trying. I absolutely hate the fact that he is gone and that his last years were so sad. I’m glad I always loved and appreciated him as an artist. His music will always live on in my memories…and in my ipod.” – Nazanin U. ~

“My favorite Michael Jackson memory is re-enacting and recording the “Remember the Time” music video with my older sister. She, being the #1 MJ fan in our house, always pulled rank and got to play Michael…leaving me to be the rest of the supporting cast. That cast would include Eddie Murphy as Pharaoh, Iman as Pharaoh’s wife, Magic Johnson as the guard, and about 100 other Egyptian dancers keeping up with Michael’s crazy moves. While I’m running around our “set” like a chicken with its head cut off getting to my cues, she got to move like the King of Pop in shiny gold.” – Tara S.

“I’ve always been pretty partial to “Smooth Criminal” because Alien Ant Farm did a cover when I was in high school and I absolutely loved that song. And yes, my taste in music has improved exponentially since then.” - Pam. W

As for me, It is really difficult to sum up what Micheal Jackson means to me. The sheer volume of joy and happiness he has brought to me through his music will forever remain unmatched. He has always been a creative and musical inspiration to me since my very earliest memories. He left this world too soon, but I am forever grateful to him for the priceless gift that he gave us while he was here. We love you MJ!
