Dresses and Diamonds & Heels, Oh My!
Smack dab in the middle of awards season, it’s hard to run through your grocery store check-out stand without noticing the latest dress worn by Angelina Jolie on the cover of <insert your favorite tabloid here>. True, it looked more like a drawstring Hefty bag, but it is “fashion” nonetheless that is on the cover versus the dramatic, ground-breaking performance that was undoubtedly given by today’s in-demand indie actor.
Golden Globes, Oscars, and Razzies for that matter, are all about how you look when you receive one. It’s easier to recall Julia Roberts’ epic Vintage Armani, Charlize Theron’s golden Dior, and Gwyneth Paltrow shining bright in pink Ralph Lauren than it is to pinpoint the performances they won for…do you remember? In any case, you have to admit that Angie looks better in Max Azria and Christian Louboutin than Mickey Rourke looks in…anything.
