This marks a truly historic day for our country with the innaguration of the nation’s 44th president and a monumental civil rights achievement by the American people - The election of our nation’s first ever African American president!!!
After a long and hard fought primary and equally challenging presidential campaign, Barack Obama officially takes over the reigns in Washington. Campaigning on the promise of change and reform, and amidst a dizzying economic meltdown, Obama has managed to inspire hope in the face of uncertainty and unprecedented challenges facing our country.
